In just 5 days, you’ll learn everything you need to get started with sailing. Step by step, you’ll become more confident and self-assured—and soon you’ll be steering your own boat.

At the end of the course, you’ll receive the basic sailing certificate from the VDS—your entry into the world of sailing and the foundation for renting boats worldwide and discovering new sailing areas.

Beginner sailing course

Get your sailing certificate in just 5 days

In small groups (only 3–4 participants per coach), we’ll teach you all the essential basics—hands-on, easy to understand, and directly on the water.

You’ll learn, among other things:
✅ safe steering and maneuvering
✅ how to act in emergency situations
✅ right-of-way rules on the water
✅ important sailing knots

The focus is clearly on practice—supported by easy-to-understand theory.

On the last day of the course, you’ll take a simple exam and receive your sailing certificate.

Family sailing course

Sailing brings people together—and that’s exactly why our courses are ideal for families.

Spend active time with your kids on the water and learn a new skill together. Children can join from around age 6 and are introduced to sailing in a playful way.
